Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Scientist to support daily production in the Reagent protein purification cell in Chaska, MN. The role emphasizes problem solving, SOP updates, and cross‑functional collaboration to keep reagents moving and meet quality standards.

You will lead investigations, document changes, and troubleshoot issues with chromatography and analytical methods, while ensuring compliance with quality systems and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or Biology with 5+ years industry experience or Master’s with 3+ years or Doctoral degree
• Experience in a regulated industry (FDA, ISO) is preferred
• Strong technical understanding of biochemical/immunoassay processes and data interpretation
• Subject matter expertise in protein purification techniques
• Expertise in chromatography methods (affinity, ion exchange, size exclusion) and analytical methods (HPLC, UPLC, IEP, IEF, SDS-PAGE)

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction in Immunoassay purification manufacturing
• Lead multi-department teams to address non-conforming issues
• Assess processes and implement improvements for performance, quality, and cost
• Communicate investigation statuses and update documentation
• Resolve immunoassay testing and manufacturing issues promptly
