Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Scientist to support the daily production needs of the reagent protein purification work cell in Chaska, MN. This on-site role involves investigating assay failures, maintaining BOMs, and updating SOPs to comply with quality systems.

You will lead investigations, troubleshoot issues, and drive improvements in chromatography and analytical methods while collaborating with the Manufacturing Science team under the Senior Manager,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or Biology with 5+ years of industry experience or Master’s with 3+ years or Doctoral degree.
Experience in a regulated industry (FDA, ISO) preferred.
Strong technical understanding of biochemical/immunoassay processes and data analysis.

Responsibilities

Provide technical direction in Immunoassay manufacturing, primarily purification.
Lead multi-department teams to resolve non-conforming issues.
Assess processes and implement improvements for performance, quality, and cost.
Communicate investigation status and proposals via reports.
Develop and implement changes to documentation in a timely manner.
