Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics in Minnesota seeks a Manufacturing Scientist II to support daily reagent manufacturing operations. You will investigate assay failures, maintain bills of materials, and update SOPs per current quality standards, ensuring smooth production flow and compliance.

Reporting to the Manager, Manufacturing Science, you will join the Technical Operations group in Chaska, on‑site, contributing to process improvements and reliable finished goods for our customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of industry experience or Master’s degree
• Experience in a regulated industry preferred (e.g. FDA, ISO)
• Technical understanding of biochemical/immunoassay processes and data interpretation
• Experience discussing technical concepts with diverse audiences
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and basic Windows OS
• Experience in manufacturing of biologicals or pharmaceuticals is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and direction in multiple Immunoassay manufacturing areas.
• Lead multi-department teams to support/resolve non-conforming issues for existing products.
• Assess manufacturing processes and systems, and implement improvements for performance, quality, and cost.
• Communicate investigation status reports and proposals; update SOPs in a timely manner.
• Solve immunoassay testing and manufacturing issues as they arise.
