Job summary

The University of Iowa Health Care is seeking a 100% Senior Imaging Technologist for the EP Lab in the UI Heart and Vascular Center. The role focuses on advanced imaging, patient prep for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and skilled operation of radiologic and specialized invasive equipment in a fast-paced EP lab.

Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field, ARRT and state licensure, and BLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or allied health; alternative education/experience accepted.
• ARRT certification and a state permit to practice required.
• Current Basic and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certifications needed.

Responsibilities

• Operates fluoroscopic imaging equipment.
• Monitors hemodynamic data and invasive procedural needs.
• Prepares and operates cardiac support devices under supervision.
• Performs sterile table setup and circulating duties as required.
• Ensures supplies and equipment are stocked and maintained in procedural labs.
• Maintains safety standards to minimize risks to patients and staff.
• Provides trainee instruction on equipment operation and safety.
