Job summary

University of Iowa Health Care—UI Heart & Vascular Center is seeking a full-time Senior Imaging Technologist for the EP Lab. You will assist providers with patient preparation, operate radiologic and specialized imaging equipment, and support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for rhythm disorders.

Responsibilities include fluoroscopy operation, hemodynamic monitoring, sterile technique, and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or allied health field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1 year imaging tech experience; cath or EP setting preferred.
• ARRT and related radiologic certifications required; RCIS/RCES/CI/VI or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates fluoroscopic imaging equipment in EP lab.
• Prepares and operates cardiac support devices under provider supervision.
• Performs sterile technique, table setup, and circulating duties.
• Monitors hemodynamic status and participates in patient care.
• Ensures supplies and equipment are available and maintained.
• Provides instruction to trainees and staff on safety and procedures.
• Maintains knowledge of radiologic advances and participates in continuing education.
