Job summary

The University of Iowa Heart and Vascular Center is seeking a full-time Imaging Technologist for the Adult Cardiac Cath Lab. You will perform specialized digital angiography imaging and monitor patients undergoing complex procedures in a high-volume academic setting.

Qualifications

• Two-year radiologic technology education completed.
• Experience in adult cardiac catheterization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, safe patient care during diagnostic and therapeutic adult cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Operate complex imaging equipment with physician supervision, ensuring quality and safety.
• Monitor patient vitals and maintain standard septic techniques.
• Perform image processing and data archiving; assist with room scheduling and inventory.
