Job summary

Midland-Marvel in Seattle seeks an experienced Imaging/Radiology Manager to lead a large, multidisciplinary imaging team in a hospital setting. This role oversees staffing, performance management, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement to deliver high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Imaging/Radiology with 3+ years in management, hospital-based leadership, and multi-modality oversight, including experience with hiring and evaluations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diagnostic imaging program, bachelor's degree, or four years of directly related experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional Imaging/Radiology experience across modalities.
• 3 years of Imaging/Radiology management experience within X-ray or imaging environments.
• Hospital-based imaging/radiology leadership experience required.
• Direct reports experience with performance evaluations and hiring/termination decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and administrative leadership for ~40 imaging employees across multiple modalities.
• Manage daily department operations with high standards for patient care, safety, quality, and productivity.
• Directly supervise imaging professionals with ongoing coaching and performance management.
• Conduct annual performance evaluations and manage staff development and corrective actions.
• Lead recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, retention, and termination processes.
• Develop staffing plans and schedules to meet patient volumes and requirements.
• Collaborate with senior imaging leadership to set priorities and achieve goals.
• Monitor performance metrics, quality, and patient experience; ensure regulatory compliance.
