Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking a Field Service Specialist IV - Imaging to service high-end diagnostic equipment across Illinois. You will perform preventive maintenance, installation support, testing, and calibration of MRI, CT, Cath Lab, X-ray, and related modalities.

The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, PACS/DICOM knowledge, and the ability to train others while complying with regulatory standards. Travel to hospitals in Illinois will be necessary.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate degree in biomedical/electrical tech or equivalent military training.
• Formal certification in imaging modalities (OEM or third-party).
• Working knowledge of networking, PACS and DICOM standards.
• Familiar with tools and test equipment; capable of troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, installation support, testing and calibration on imaging devices.
• Troubleshoot and repair multiple high-end imaging modalities (MRI, CT, Cath Lab, X-ray, Nuc Med).
• Provide regional technical support and coach others as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory changes and maintain service schedules.
• Travel to Prime Healthcare hospitals in Illinois and beyond as needed.
