Job summary

Huntsville Hospital is seeking a Biomedical Technician III to respond to service calls, evaluate and diagnose issues, perform repairs and planned maintenance on basic medical equipment. You will drive customer satisfaction through service excellence and clear communication with customers.

Ideal candidates will have an HS/GED and an associate degree in electrical/electronic/biomedical fields, plus extensive BMET experience or a BMET II background, enabling effective problem solving in a hospital

Qualifications

• Education prefers an associate degree or technical schooling in electrical, electronic or biomedical fields.
• Ten years in BMET field considered in lieu of degree.
• Strong analytical and communication skills needed to explain technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls to evaluate, diagnose, repair and perform PM on basic medical equipment.
