Job summary

Ballad Health's Biomedical Equipment Technician III will provide maintenance and technical support for medical and scientific instrumentation, troubleshooting and repairing to ensure safe patient care. This role includes supervisory functions of assigned technicians and coordinating major equipment installations, with involvement in preplanning and device evaluations.

The BMET III will serve as lead technician for the facility.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in biomedical technology, electronics or related technical/healthcare fields or completion of US military Biomedical Equipment Specialist program is required.
• 10 years of biomedical experience or AAMI Biomedical Certification with 5 years of experience required.
