Job summary

Commure is building the AI Operating System for healthcare, delivering secure authentication and authorization at scale. This Senior Software Engineer will design, implement, and operate the Identity Platform, enabling secure access across enterprise data and AI agents.

You will work across Platform, Infrastructure, Security, and Product Engineering teams to strengthen security and reliability while advancing reusable platform services and optimizer tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience building authentication and authorization systems (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWTs).
• Experience with RBAC/ABAC and policy-based authorization.
• Proficiency in backend distributed systems, databases, caching, async processing, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with Kubernetes and production services.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain the authentication and authorization platform.
• Implement secure identity systems and token lifecycle management.
• Develop reusable auth services, SDKs, and libraries used across teams.
• Contribute to Agentic Security platform and secure AI agent identity.
• Collaborate with Platform, Infrastructure, Security, and Product Engineering teams to strengthen security posture.
• Mentor junior engineers and uphold engineering excellence.
