Ladders is seeking a Senior Identity Governance Engineer to shape our client’s identity governance strategy in a modern technology environment. The role emphasizes strengthening access controls, automation, and visibility across critical systems.

You will partner with Security Architecture to define scalable standards for authentication, authorization, and privileged access governance, while building analytics for continuous monitoring and remediation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in identity and access management with emphasis on Identity Governance & Administration.
• Hands-on experience with IGA tools such as Veza, Lumos, and Okta.
• Knowledge of authentication/authorization standards: SSO, OIDC, SAML, SCIM.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Identity Governance Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will help shape the identity governance strategy for a modern technology environment, with a focus on strengthening access controls, automation, and visibility across critical systems. The engineer will partner closely with Security Architecture and related stakeholders to define scalable standards for authentication, authorization, and privileged access governance. This is a hands-on position that blends technical design, tooling, and analytics to improve how access is requested, reviewed, monitored, and remediated. Location: Remote. Compensation: $134,500 - $201,700 annually

Responsibilities

• Experience governing non-human identities in cloud environments such as AWS and GCP
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Go and API integration
