Qualifications

• 7+ years of technical leadership in Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Experience as a Product Owner, Solutions Architect, or Operations/Engineering Manager.
• Strong understanding of identity security cloud platforms and Active Directory.
• Relevant industry certifications such as CIAM, CISSP, or ITIL.
• Proven track record in enterprise-level IAM transformations.
• Deep knowledge of ITSM/ITIL frameworks.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary process owner for joiner, mover, and leaver identity lifecycle outcomes.
• Co-host the IAM Governance Council to drive policy reviews and prioritize the IAM backlog.
• Define business and technical requirements for automated lifecycle workflows.
• Lead IAM operations and engineering teams to reduce silos and improve execution.
• Operationalize governance processes to support continuous improvement and KPI establishment.
• Support the migration from a legacy identity platform to a modern identity security cloud solution.
• Partner with application owners to onboard applications into the identity security cloud platform.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Sr Manager, Identity Operations & Engineering to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will lead identity operations and engineering efforts that shape how workforce access is governed across the organization. You will own key identity lifecycle outcomes, guide governance priorities, and help drive the modernization of IAM capabilities. The position partners closely with application owners, technical teams, and governance stakeholders to improve security, automate workflows, and strengthen operational discipline.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $152,400 - $173,300 annually
