Job summary

Ladders seeks a Senior IT Engineer, Identity and Access Management, to lead IAM design, deployment, and operations across a remote-first organization.

You will own access governance, integrate with Okta, implement SAML/OIDC/SCIM, and partner with IT and Security to strengthen controls while supporting reliable day-to-day IAM workflows in a distributed environment.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in IT engineering or systems administration.
• Proficiency administering Okta or similar identity providers.
• Knowledge of identity protocols including SAML, OIDC, and SCIM.
• Experience with REST APIs and scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Git workflows.
• Demonstrated use of AI to enhance workflows and manage projects.
• Experience with Terraform and compliance audits, including SOC 2, SOX, and ISO 27001.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior IT Engineer, Identity and Access Management to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will own key identity and access management operations that support secure, efficient employee access across the organization. You will lead IAM initiatives from design through rollout, partnering closely with IT and Security to improve controls, integrations, and lifecycle processes. The position will also help shape safeguards for access changes and support reliable day-to-day identity operations in a remote-first environment.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $117,000 – $164,000 annually
