Clara is seeking an Auth Engineer to own, architect, and build systems defining user identity and access across our platform. You’ll handle authentication, authorization, lifecycle management, and Auth0 integration, ensuring seamless frontend and backend collaboration.

We value autonomy, proactive problem-solving, and a passion for AI-enabled tooling. This remote-first role supports English as the working language with Latin America and beyond.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of software engineering experience in production environments.
• 2+ years implementing authentication and authorization on modern identity platforms; Auth0 preferred.
• Backend focus with Java/Spring and frontend with React is a plus; strong fundamentals matter.
• Deep understanding of web security best practices for distributed architectures.
• High autonomy and ownership mindset; proactive in driving initiatives.
• Interest in AI tools and applying them to development work; English communication across geographies.

Responsabilidades

• Own, architect, and build the identity and access layer across Clara's apps.
• Lead end-to-end auth including architecture, implementation, and Auth0 integration.
• Design and harden auth flows and the full user lifecycle.
• Be a reference on identity and access for other engineers; solve hard auth problems.
• Set and uphold security and quality standards on identity-critical paths.
• Collaborate with product and tech leads on feasibility of auth-heavy initiatives and AI opportunities.
