Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Senior ICV CAD Engineer to join the Advanced Technology Group. You will install, configure, and support foundry techfiles, debug design errors, and develop flows to boost productivity for global IC designers.

Requires a BS in EE or CS, 5+ years of experience, strong ICV, and proficiency in Perl and Cadence SKILL. Experience with Virtuoso, IC-Manage, DRC/LVS, extraction, and SPICE is essential; excellent interpersonal skills are a must.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent); MS preferred.
• 5+ years of work experience in IC CAD/ICV.
• Strong programming skills: Perl and Cadence SKILL.
• Expertise in ICV to support, enhance, and debug foundry DRC/LVS techfiles.
• Ability to implement NVIDIA-specific DFM, DRC rules using ICV.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support foundry techfiles.
• Perform expert debugging of design errors and explain issues to designers and partners.
• Custom edit foundry techfiles to define NVIDIA design methodologies.
• Support CAD tools used by IC designers including Virtuoso, IC-Manage, DRC/LVS tools, extractions, and spice.
