Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years ICT design experience in mission critical environments.
• 5+ years designing construction/permits documents for construction/manufacturing.
• 5+ years working with fiber optic components, cabling, and interconnect products.
• BICSI RCDD Certification or equivalent.
• Professional Engineering (PE) Electrical License.

Responsibilities

• Deliver scalable ICT fiber optic and copper plant designs and specifications.
• Review ICT pathway, cable and equipment submittals for approval.
• Identify and respond to risks and high-priority issues rapidly and effectively.
• Support new technology and design activities to improve infrastructure quality, reduce cost and installation time.
• Travel 40+% to review projects and coordinate with onsite personnel and contractors at AWS Data Centers.
