Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Tempe, Arizona is seeking an ICT Colo Regional Engineer to lead the design of connectivity for data center infrastructure, delivering pathway and cabling designs and supporting construction and permitting across AWS facilities.

This role collaborates across AWS engineering teams to ensure safety, security, and cost-efficient infrastructure. The position offers growth within a fast‑growing, inclusive engineering culture.

Qualificações

• 10+ years ICT design experience in mission critical environments.
• 5+ years designing construction/permits documents for construction/manufacturing.
• 5+ years working with fiber optic components, cabling, and interconnect products.
• BICSI RCDD Certification or equivalent.
• Professional Engineering (PE) Electrical License.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver scalable ICT fiber optic and copper plant designs and specifications.
• Review ICT pathway, cable and equipment submittals for approval.
• Identify and respond to risks and high-priority issues rapidly and effectively.
• Support new technology and design activities to improve infrastructure quality, reduce cost and installation time.
• Travel 40+% to review projects and coordinate with onsite personnel and contractors at AWS Data Centers.
