Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Atlanta, GA is seeking an ICT Colo Regional Engineer to join a global engineering team responsible for the design, planning, delivery and operation of AWS data center infrastructure.

You will develop connectivity solutions for the physical layer, provide pathway and cabling designs, and work with suppliers to establish product requirements. You will travel about 40% to AWS data centers to review projects, coordinate with onsite teams and contractors, and help

Qualifications

10+ years ICT design experience in Mission Critical Environments.
5+ years of experience developing design documentation for construction and/or permitting.
5+ years of working experience with fiber optic components, cabling, and interconnect products.
BICSI RCDD Certification or internationally recognized equivalent.
Professional Engineering Electrical License.

Responsibilities

Ensure timely delivery of scalable ICT pathway, fiber optic & copper plant designs and specifications.
Review and approval of ICT pathway, cable and equipment submittals.
Identify and respond to risks and high‑priority issues rapidly and effectively.
Support new technology and design activities that improve infrastructure quality, reduce cost and installation time.
Travel 40+% to review projects and coordinate with onsite personnel and contractors.
