Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking an ICT Colo Regional Engineer to lead the design of electrical and mechanical infrastructure for AWS data centers.

You will create connectivity solutions, pathway and cabling designs, and collaborate with teams to specify construction and permitting requirements. You will work with suppliers to develop product requirements, review submittals, and help raise the bar on safety, reliability, and cost efficiency while supporting continuous learning and growth

Qualifications

• 10+ years ICT design experience in mission critical environments.
• 5+ years developing design documentation for construction/permitting.
• RCDD Certification or equivalent (CDCDP, DCDC, etc.).
• Professional Engineering (PE) Electrical License.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely delivery of scalable ICT pathway designs and specifications.
• Review and approve ICT pathway, cable and equipment submittals.
• Identify risks and respond rapidly to high‑priority issues.
• Support new technology/design activities to improve quality and reduce costs.
• Travel 40+% to review projects and coordinate with onsite personnel.
