Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions, LLC seeks an experienced Industrial Control Systems/SCADA Specialist dedicated to the Kodiak, Alaska area. The role focuses on hands‑on maintenance, troubleshooting, and lifecycle modernization of OT and FRCS to ensure continuous, secure operation of critical utility plants and building automation systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of ICS/SCADA or OT experience.
• Strong knowledge of BACnet, Modbus & DNP3.
• Experience supporting Windows/Linux/VMware vCenter/Hyper‑V environments.
• Familiarity with DoD security and system compliance requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead upgrades and replacement of legacy controllers, RTUs and field devices.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and modernize FRCS and OT infrastructure across the installation.
• Manage SCADA environments and HMIs for critical systems (Potable Water, Wastewater, Steam, HVAC).
• Consolidate building automation and HVAC systems into centralized monitoring platforms.
• Configure industrial communication protocols to ensure reliable field-to- supervisory communications.
• Coordinate with engineers and contractors on installation, configuration, testing and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot sensors, MCCs, wiring, and control equipment in OT environments.
• Maintain technical documentation including P&IDs, schematics and network diagrams.
• Provide on‑duty technical support during outages and emergencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
