Interiorgas is seeking a SCADA/PLC Controls Technician to ensure efficient and reliable operation of its gas storage sites in Fairbanks, Alaska. This hybrid role involves hands-on maintenance and programming of PLC and SCADA systems. Ideal candidates will have qualifications in instrumentation, programming experience, and strong troubleshooting abilities.

The salary range is $78,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on experience, along with benefits like health and dental insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Experience level is open (DOE), candidates from entry-level through senior will be considered.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Communication skills are essential for effective liaison with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, calibration, and repair of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
• Develop, modify, and document PLC programs.
• Maintain SCADA, PLC, and HMI hardware and software.

Skills

Hands-on experience programming PLCs in ladder logic

Experience building or maintaining HMI/SCADA applications

Strong troubleshooting skills

Knowledge of Modbus and industrial networking

Self-motivated and team player

Education

Instrumentation and electrical qualifications or equivalent work history
