Job summary

Holland America-Princess (Holland America Dawson City Inn) seeks an Automation Specialist to design, implement and maintain Industrial Control Systems and HMI/SCADA infrastructure on the North Slope of Alaska. The role focuses on HMI development, PLC and DCS programming, and troubleshooting, with a 12-hour shift, 14/14 rotation.

Candidates should have at least four years of Automation/SCADA experience and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

Minimum 4 years Automation/SCADA experience.
Willing to work 12-hour shifts on 14/14 North Slope Alaska.
Strong diagnostic, prioritization and communication skills.
Proficient in HMI, PLC, and DCS programming software.

Responsibilities

Design, implement and maintain Industrial Control Systems and HMI/SCADA infrastructure.
HMI development and support.
PLC system design, programming, and maintenance.
DCS programming and troubleshooting.
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial networks.
Mentor and train junior Automation Specialists.
Adhere to company values and maintain schedule.
Other duties as assigned by management.
