Job summary

Glacier Services, Inc. is seeking a qualified individual to assist with SCADA and operational work in Alaska. Responsibilities include maintenance and administration of control systems, data engineering, and project management. The ideal candidate will have extensive SCADA experience, a background in engineering, and strong communication skills.

This position is located on the North Slope of Alaska on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation, with extensive benefits including medical and a 401(k) savings plan.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of SCADA or automation experience.
• Strong ability to communicate with individuals at all levels.
• Ability to diagnose and solve SCADA problems.
• Experience in administering and programming SCADA systems.
• Proficient in OSIsoft PI Historian, GE Proficy Historian, and GE iFix.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the maintenance of SCADA and control systems.
• Create data pipelines and integrations in various technologies.
• Coordinate standards and documentation for SCADA configurations.
• Manage internal and external resources for fieldwork.
• Mentor and train junior staff.
