City of Boise is seeking a Senior Ice Skating Instructor to teach youth and adults in a fun, safe environment on the ice. You will develop engaging lessons that build confidence and make learning enjoyable for skaters of all ages.
Applicants must be 18 or older, a US Figure Skating Registered Coach, and complete CER Class C within six months, with a minimum of five years of teaching experience in USFS Basic Skill or ISI weSKATE programs. The role emphasizes safety and positive instruction.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently lifting/carrying up to 10 pounds and rarely lifting/carrying up to 20 pounds. Also, the employee is frequently pushing/pulling up to 10 pounds. The noise level is occasionally moderate and rarely loud. Work includes sensory ability to talk, hear and touch. Work in this position also includes close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception. Employees will sit, stand, walk and runn. Additional physical efforts include: incumbent will be frequently skating on ice.
The work environment will include inside conditions, outdoor weather conditions, extreme temperatures and in wet and humid conditions. Work includes protected exposure to bodily fluids.
