Job summary

Easy Ice is seeking a Refurb Technician II/III in Fort Worth, TX to refurbish and repair ice machines, mentor junior technicians, and ensure equipment reliability. The role requires technical experience and a proactive, team-oriented mindset to support our service goals.

You will work with the Technical Services team to maintain equipment functionality, mentor peers, and uphold safety and workspace standards while contributing to customer satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

• A degree in a technical, HVAC, or related program is preferred but not required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in refurbishment or ice machine service.
• EPA 608 Certification is required or preferred.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Progression from Refurb Technician II to III with increasing scope.
• Ensure refurb and repair work meet Easy Ice standards.
• Identify equipment to scrap.
• Mentor and train less experienced technicians.
• Coordinate tasks of refurb technicians.
• Ensure warehouse meets required standards by law.
• May handle part ordering and inventory.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain a positive office atmosphere.
