Magnum Ice Cream Company is seeking a Senior Scientist to lead RD&I projects and drive product development from concept to scale. You will coordinate across R&D, Supply Chain, Marketing, and partners, applying formulation expertise to bring ideas to life for iconic ice cream brands, including Magnum and Ben & Jerry’s.

The role emphasizes end-to-end project ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and technical leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering or similar field; 5+ years in product development or technical PM.
• Experience managing product development through lifecycle and in specification systems like SAP PLM.
• Strong skills in product formulation, organization and project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact RD&I projects; coordinate across RD&I, Supply Chain, Marketing and partners.
• Manage end-to-end RD&I activities from product to process to packaging; ensure on-time delivery.
• Own product development from idea to launch; design recipes, trials and scale-up.
• Translate technical challenges into solutions via formulation expertise and experimentation.
• Be the technical go-to person for projects; guidance in product and process decisions.
• Develop test protocols; lead shelf-life, analytical, prototype and scale-up activities.
• Drive excellence by leading ingredient and product specifications and SAP PLM entries.
• Foster strong cross-functional partnerships to deliver projects successfully.
