The Magnum Ice Cream Company is seeking an Associate Scientist in the North America Ice Cream RD&I team. You will support technical deliverables across innovation, renovation, quality improvement and cost optimization with hands-on bench development and pilot plant work.

You will lead bench-top development, screen ingredients and suppliers, plan pilot plant trials, manage samples, and create specifications in SAP PLM to launch new products through cross-functional collaboration.

Competenze

• Minimum of B.S. in Food Science or relevant scientific field.
• 1+ years of product development experience including internships preferred.
• Experience operating under FDA regulations, GMPs and GLPs.
• Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills in cross-functional teams.
• Good project management, organizational skills, multi-tasking and quick learning.
• Ability to present information to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to prepare trial/lab reports and recommendations.

Mansioni

• Support regional innovation, renovation, quality improvement and cost optimization projects.
• Lead bench-top development and optimization work based on project briefs.
• Screen and validate ingredients and suppliers; recommend next steps based on results.
• Plan and execute pilot plant trials, sample prep, testing and sensory evaluations.
• Manage ingredients and product samples, including inventory and logistics.
• Lead specification creation in SAP PLM from request to approved status for new ingredients/products.
• Support factory trials and third-party manufacturing for launches.
