Job summary

Arrow Electronics, Inc. through its eInfochips unit seeks a Physical Design Engineer II (IC) to execute synthesis, PnR, and STA for ASIC partitions on tight schedules.

You will collaborate with architects, RTL, and DFT to resolve issues and drive signoffs for your blocks. You will contribute to PD flows and tool scripting (Innovus, Tempus, Quantus) while addressing EM/IR and low-power techniques for SoC designs in sub-7nm nodes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/computer engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in physical design and implementation (synthesis, PnR, timing, verification).
• Proficient in EDA tools (Innovus, Tempus, Quantus) and PD flows.

Responsibilities

• Execute synthesis, PNR, and STA for ASIC partitions on schedule.
• Collaborate with architects, RTL designers, and DFT engineers to resolve issues.
• Close EM/IR, drive LEC and PV signoff for partitions.
• Develop and refine flows for EMIR, PDN, and TCL scripting.
