Impinj, Inc. is seeking a Layout Design Engineer to perform transistor-level layout for RF, mixed-signal, and analog blocks, collaborating with analog and digital design teams on floor planning, power strategies, and signal distribution.

You will review power/ground routing, electromigration, and matching while contributing to schedule coordination. Required are 8+ years of layout experience, a bachelor’s in electrical or computer engineering, and deep knowledge of Cadence Virtuoso and Calibre

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in computer or electrical engineering; 8+ years of experience in layout.
• Experience in custom analog, RF, and mixed-signal layout.
• Ability to collaborate with layout engineers and circuit designers to resolve complex problems.
• Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and advanced nodes (down to 16nm).
• Knowledge of analog layout challenges, noise, matching, and layout-dependent effects with mitigation techniques.

Aufgaben

• Perform detailed transistor-level layout of RF, mixed-signal, and analog blocks for high-performance RF and ultra-low power RFID.
• Collaborate on floor planning, pin placement, power strategy, and signal distribution between blocks.
• Conduct layout reviews for power/ground routing, EM-related concerns, matching, and signal coupling.
• Participate in schedule meetings coordinating layout and floorplan activities.
