Job summary

Serco seeks a Senior IBM Maximo Developer to lead design, development, and integration of Maximo solutions across asset-intensive environments. You will mentor teammates, optimize performance, and guide architecture from MAS to enterprise integrations.

The role covers mobile, offline capabilities, data migration, and complex data transformations, working with MAS, MIF, REST APIs, and cloud-native deployments.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of hands-on experience developing, configuring, integrating, administering, or supporting IBM Maximo solutions.
• Experience implementing and supporting Maximo in large, complex enterprise environments.
• Advanced experience with IBM Maximo Application Suite, Maximo Manage, or recent versions of IBM Maximo Asset Management.
• Strong SQL skills with Oracle, MS SQL Server, or IBM Db2.
• Experience with REST APIs, web services, XML interfaces, and enterprise integration tech.
• Experience with Git or other source-control and SDLC practices.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required background/suitability for the program.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, test, deploy, and support IBM Maximo solutions addressing enterprise asset management needs.
• Lead and mentor technical team members; conduct design reviews and provide demonstrations.
• Develop automation scripts using Jython/Python, JavaScript, and SQL within MAS.
• Configure Maximo modules including asset management, work management, and inventory.
• Develop/consume REST APIs and integrations using MIF, web services, and ETL processes.
• Support deployments on OpenShift/Kubernetes and manage performance optimizations.
