Job summary

Concord USA is seeking an IBM i / WebSmart Developer to support and extend business-critical IBM i applications. You will maintain existing IBM i apps while building modern web-based interfaces on top of legacy systems, collaborating with internal IT and business stakeholders to ensure reliability and modernization.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on IBM i experience, WebSmart proficiency, and strong communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM i systems.
Experience with WebSmart for web application development.
RPG/RPGLE and CL programming experience.
Experience with DB2 for i.
Strong troubleshooting skills in a production support environment (helpful but not required).
Experience in environmental services, waste management, or a similarly regulated industry.

Responsibilities

Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing applications on IBM i (AS/400)
Design and build web-based interfaces and applications using WebSmart
Support integration between legacy IBM i systems and modern web front-ends
Diagnose and resolve production issues
Collaborate with business and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Participate in occasional onsite visits/travel as needed for project or team work
