Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or better.
• Must know RPG, CLP, and SQL.
• 7 years: Experience in business system delivery using modern RPG techniques.
• Experienced with IBM i tools used for interacting in a three-tier architectural model.
• Understands ILE concepts and is competent in their use.
• Experience with IBM Rational Developer for i a strong plus.
• Familiar with Service Oriented Architectural (SOA) principles.
• Self-starter with professional discipline who is at home with a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Designs and writes IBM i corporate software.
• Participates in the testing process to certify that the software performs as required.
• Consults with others in a multi-platform environment to evaluate interfaces between hardware and software.
• Provides production support when needed.
• Interacts with various members of the business community through efficient and effective communication.
