Job summary

Waters Corporation in Milford, MA is seeking a Principal IAM & Web Security Engineer to defend our digital platforms and operations. You will lead application security initiatives for global environments, focusing on identity, access, and secure coding practices.

You will implement WAFs, manage IAM controls, perform code reviews and penetration testing, and align security with regulatory requirements. This role demands hands-on expertise and collaboration with engineering teams to scale security

Qualifications

3+ years leading IAM/security program with hands-on Okta/Azure AD.
5+ years implementing WAF & CDN (Akamai/Cloudflare).
Strong knowledge of RBAC, MFA and privileged access management.
Experience with OWASP Top 10, secure coding, DAST/SAST and API security.
Experience with vulnerability management and risk prioritization.
Scripting skills in PowerShell or Python.

Responsibilities

Implement and manage WAFs and security policies with tuning and bot management.
Align IAM configurations with compliance and security requirements.
Lead secure code reviews and application security testing (DAST) across the lifecycle.
Serve as SME on application security best practices and API security.
Identify, track, and remediate vulnerabilities with timely patching.
Manage user provisioning, RBAC, and PAM across environments.
Enforce strong authentication and least privilege across systems.
