Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or STEM; equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of development experience with at least 5 years in a Lead Cloud Architect role.
• Solid experience in application architecture, database architecture, and security.
• Strong experience leading or developing quality, enterprise software products using a structured SDLC.
• Proven experience designing and delivering cloud platform solutions, AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Domain-Driven Design of microservices, polyglot storage, Data Meshes, API design, ETL pipelines.
• Proficiency in designing Multi-tenant SaaS applications with high-volume transactions.
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, design patterns, and testing methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across internal and external organizations.

Responsibilities

• Create and document architectural designs following input from stakeholders.
• Architect solutions that comply with regulatory standards (HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2).
• Act as architectural design authority and enforce high-level design and implementation best practices.
• Establish best practices for AWS architectures, security, and DevSecOps.
• Codify hexagonal architecture in development practice.
• Develop IaC using Terraform and related tools.
• Drive adherence to unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategy.
• Socialize the architecture and train team members; update stakeholders.
• Mentor others on architectural concepts and infrastructure.
