Job summary

FedEx is seeking a Sr Cyber Security Analyst to join the Identity and Access Management team supporting Purple ID, an Okta-powered identity environment. This hybrid role focuses on administering IAM and authentication capabilities, resolving identity-related incidents and onboarding needs, and using AI-enabled tools and automation to improve day-to-day IAM operations.

Qualifications

• 4 years minimum experience in cybersecurity or IAM roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent training.
• Experience with IAM concepts, authentication, MFA, and SSO (SAML 2.0, OAuth/OIDC).
• Knowledge of Okta or comparable enterprise identities, Active Directory, and LDAP.

Responsibilities

• Implement, administer, and support IAM technologies across related cybersecurity domains.
• Support Okta/Purple ID environment including authentication, MFA, access policies, and RBAC.
• Onboard apps to Okta using SSO/SAML/OIDC; integrate with AD/LDAP and governance platforms like SailPoint and PAM.
• Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, and identity-related issues across enterprise environments.
• Use networking fundamentals to isolate identity and application integration problems.
• Manage incidents and requests using ServiceNow and standard processes.
• Collaborate with technical teams to understand access requirements and implement secure IAM solutions.
• Research and counter potential security breaches and design mitigations.
• Communicate security impacts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Write and debug scripts (PowerShell, Python, JavaScript) and use Okta Workflows or REST APIs to automate tasks.
• Participate in on-call rotations after attaining proficiency in the environment.
