Job summary

FedEx is seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional to join the Identity and Access Management team supporting Purple ID, FedEx’s enterprise identity platform powered by Okta. You will secure authentication, onboarding, and role-based access across enterprise systems and apply AI/automation to IAM processes.

The role emphasizes hands-on IAM with Okta, SailPoint, and PAM, plus collaboration with security, application, and infrastructure teams in a hybrid Memphis/TN area environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field or equivalent
• Four (4) years of IT information security experience
• Experience with IAM concepts, authentication and access management

Responsibilities

• Supports Okta/Purple ID environment, including authentication, MFA, onboarding, access policies, RBAC and group permissions.
• Onboards applications to Okta (SSO/SAML/OIDC) and integrates with AD/LDAP and governance platforms like SailPoint.
• Troubleshoots authentication, authorization, and identity issues across enterprise environments.
• Leverages networking knowledge to troubleshoot identity and application integration issues.
• Manages IAM incidents via ServiceNow and supports service requests and demand requests.
• Collaborates with security, infrastructure, and business teams to implement secure IAM solutions.
• Identifies manual IAM processes for automation and participates in AI-enabled improvements.
• Writes, maintains, and debugs basic scripts (PowerShell, Python, JavaScript) and uses Okta Workflows or REST APIs for automation.
