Job summary

FedEx Group is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Red Team Lead to join our Counter Threat Operations team. The role is hybrid, with work at FedEx campuses in Memphis, TN; Plano, TX; or Pittsburg, PA, and requires proximity within 50 miles.

You will conduct internal red team engagements, develop attack simulations, and lead a team across multiple locations. The position demands strong scripting skills, Linux/Windows expertise, and relevant certifications. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems and/or equivalent formal training or work experience.
• Six (6) years’ experience in a minimum of four (4) of the following areas: Business continuity and disaster recovery, network forensics, security and risk frameworks, endpoint security, information systems auditing, vendor risk assessment, cyber risk assessment, network intrusion detection/prevention, identity and access management, IT lifecycle management.
• Experience leading a team to conduct red team assessments following the rules of engagement.
• Preferred certifications with one or more of the following: OSCP, GPEN, GXPN, OSWP, OSCE.
• Effective in collaboration with teams in remote offices and globally.

Domicile Information

This is a hybrid position located in Memphis TN, Plano TX, or Pittsburg PA. Candidates must live within 50 miles of the campus location. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx campus location several times per week.

Essential Functions

• Conduct Red Team engagements internal to FedEx

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• 4+ years of relevant commercial or government security operations work experience.
• Experience with coding / scripting (Python, Powershell, Ruby, Perl, Java, etc).
• In-depth knowledge of Linux, and Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of malware families and network attack vectors.
• In-depth knowledge of exploitation, post-exploitation, and attack tools
• Familiarity with network penetration tests
• Experience leading a team to conduct red team assessments following the rules of engagement.
• Preferred certifications with one or more of the following: OSCP, GPEN, GXPN, OSWP, OSCE.
• Effective in collaboration with teams in remote offices and globally.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems and/or equivalent formal training or work experience.
