Western Governors University is seeking a Senior Manager, Identity and Access Management to own the strategy, architecture, governance, and daily operation of the enterprise IAM program within Information Security.

You will lead a team of identity engineers and analysts, set technical standards, and partner with HR, Legal, Privacy, Internal Audit, Infrastructure, and Application Development to ensure reliable authentication and secure identity services across workforce, students, affiliates, and

Proven experience leading IAM programs and teams.
Strong understanding of identity governance and lifecycle automation.

Responsibilities

Own IAM strategy, architecture, governance, and day-to-day operations.
Lead identity engineers and analysts; set technical standards across teams.
Oversee identity governance, access management, and federation.
Manage privileged and non-human identities, including service accounts and credentials.
Ensure authentication reliability and security posture across IAM services.
Coordinate with HR, Legal, Privacy, Internal Audit, and IT operations.
Align IAM with FERPA, GLBA, PCI DSS, and NIST frameworks.
