Job summary

Motion Recruitment seeks an IAM Engineer to join its Identity and Access Management team in Massachusetts. The role focuses on supporting and enhancing enterprise identity platforms, including Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID, with hybrid identity services and access management technologies.

You will collaborate with infrastructure, security, cloud, and application teams to deliver secure, scalable identity solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise Identity and Access Management environments.
• Experience administering Microsoft Active Directory.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, federation, and identity lifecycle management.
• Experience with PowerShell or other scripting languages.
• Experience troubleshooting identity-related issues across users, applications, and systems.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with infrastructure, security, and application teams.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID environments.
• Assist with identity modernization and automation initiatives.
• Manage authentication, authorization, and access management processes.
• Partner with security teams to strengthen identity controls and reduce risk.
• Troubleshoot complex identity and access issues.
• Implement and improve automation for routine IAM operations.
• Support application onboarding and identity integrations.
• Help improve identity governance, compliance, and operational processes.
• Participate in platform upgrades, maintenance activities, and security initiatives.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver scalable identity solutions.
