Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an IAM Engineer to envision and implement IAM solutions, lead product area strategy, roadmap, and technical design. You will liaise with IT and security teams, and act as SME for IAM while providing 3rd level production support.

The role requires deep understanding of infrastructure components, from data centers to networks, and the ability to influence architectural decisions while guiding cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years’ experience supporting IT systems, processes or capabilities.
• Six years of Identity and Access Management area experience.
• In-depth knowledge of general information security.
• In-depth knowledge of general cloud security.
• Experience with IAM services such as Okta, SAML, OAuth; Privileged Access Management with CyberArk; IAM governance with Saviynt or LDAP/Unix/DB.
• Strong knowledge of current IAM space and security landscape.
• Experience in Java and other programming languages.
• Knowledge of O365 services.

Responsibilities

• Research, evaluate, develop and implement IAM designs and standards following industry best practices.
• Ensure that current and planned technical solutions align with business needs and objectives.
• Collaborate with IT organizations to design, develop, and implement IAM solutions.
• Ensure stability of the production environment.
• Provide technical expertise to IT and business groups.
• Assist IAM L2 Operations as required.
• Mentor junior staff in IAM technologies.
• Guide IAM Delivery team per strategic objectives.
• Work with IAM vendors on licenses, issues, changes and enhancements.
• Contribute to IAM roadmap and long-term strategies.
• Input on architectural decisions.
