Job summary

Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Inc. seeks a Lead IAM Engineer/Architect to drive enterprise IAM initiatives from planning through implementation.

You will design and develop custom Java-based solutions within SailPoint IdentityIQ and build cloud access automation using Python/PowerShell, leading complex provisioning and deprovisioning workflows across hybrid environments. The role collaborates with security and compliance teams on governance frameworks and mentors junior engineers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline with at least seven years of related experience, or equivalent training and/or work experience.
• Master's degree and past Financial Services industry experience preferred.
• Experience leading IAM initiatives, securing networks and systems architecture, and implementing governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Architectural leadership and design for enterprise IAM initiatives from planning through implementation.
• Design and develop custom Java-based solutions within SailPoint IdentityIQ; lead architecture across hybrid environments.
• Build cloud access automation using Python/PowerShell; design role modeling and certification campaigns.
• Develop connectors, configure workflows, and lead comprehensive testing strategies for IAM solutions.
• Mentor engineers, lead Agile/Scrum projects, and coordinate across multiple teams.
