Job summary

The Briefed is seeking a Senior Engineer for the Atlas IAM team based in New York City. You will work on platform and product-level authentication and authorization features, serving internal engineers and external customers with a best-in-class experience.

As part of a FedRAMP-focused role, you will implement secure identity solutions, RBAC/ABAC, OAuth, and SSO, while mentoring teammates and driving complex projects in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, primarily on backend systems.
• Proficiency in a modern compiled language (Java, Go, C#, C++, etc.)
• Willingness to learn JavaScript and/or TypeScript and modern frontend technologies (React, Redux, etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• US citizenship and US-based work (required by the FedRAMP Authorization Boundary)
• Based in New York City
