Job summary

Genworth is seeking a Senior Director, Identity and Access Management, to lead strategy and architecture for critical IAM capabilities. This role reports to the Head of Enterprise Architecture and AI and shapes authentication, authorization, governance, and privileged access, across hybrid environments.

You will drive modernization, establish governance, and ensure regulatory compliance while partnering across risk, audit, and executive leadership to secure Genworth’s enterprise technology

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, IAM, security engineering, or related technology disciplines.
• Proven experience leading managers and multidisciplinary teams on enterprise-scale initiatives.
• Experience defining strategies, roadmaps, operating models, and transformation programs.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute enterprise IAM strategy, roadmap, and target-state architecture.
• Lead modernization initiatives focusing on cloud transformation, automation, and user experience.
• Establish and govern Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) framework across business applications.
• Provide strategic leadership for Privileged Access Management (PAM), Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Just-In-Time (JIT) access.
• Own governance of identity platforms; align with regulatory requirements and cybersecurity standards.
• Drive platform rationalization, consolidation, and automation to reduce complexity and cost.
• Partner with Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Cloud, and EA teams to embed identity as a foundation of Zero Trust.
• Build and lead a high-performing IAM organization with cross-functional collaboration.
• Manage IAM investment strategy, budgets, vendors, and strategic technology partnerships.
