Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a senior software engineer for the Identity and Access Management platform within the Enterprise Security Engineering team. You will design and operate scalable authentication and authorization services across distributed environments, contributing to zero trust and device trust infrastructure.

You will work with Golang or Python, Kubernetes and Terraform, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable production systems on AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry experience in SaaS/PaaS/IaaS environments
• 5+ years building distributed systems
• 5+ years operating in high-availability environments
• Proficient in Golang and/or Python
• Expertise in TLS, OAuth, SAML, PKI and certificates
• Familiar with REST and OpenAPI/Swagger
• Strong DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring and production ownership
• Experience with Linux/Windows environments
• Experience with Jenkins or AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable authentication and authorization services for distributed environments
• Develop and maintain system software for Linux, macOS, Windows
• Implement and operate large-scale security services using Golang or Python
• Integrate TPM-based hardware trust and device attestation
• Contribute to platform-level identity and security solutions using PKI and certificates
• Build and manage containerized workloads with Kubernetes and Docker
• Operate and maintain services in a full DevOps model with monitoring and improvements
• Work in an Agile team to deliver iteratively
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure platform integrity and trustfulness
