Job summary

Amex GBT is seeking an Identity and Access Management Project Manager to lead key IAM initiatives. You will coordinate stakeholders, manage scope, schedule, and budget in a fast-paced, agile environment, reporting to the Senior Director of Identity & Access Management.

The role requires 8–10 years of PM experience, a bachelor’s degree, and IAM/cyber security expertise; excellent client-facing and written communication; PMP or PRINCE II is a plus.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years experience in project management or program management.
• Proven working experience in IAM and cybersecurity.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for project execution.
• Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget.
• Define project scope and objectives with stakeholders and ensure feasibility.
• Manage resource availability and allocation.
• Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
• Control changes to scope, schedule and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Report to management and escalate as needed.
• Maintain relationships with clients and all stakeholders.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Create and maintain project documentation and meeting notes.
• Analyze progress to ensure short and long-term goals are met.
