Qualifications

Responsibilities

About the Opportunity

A Fortune 500, Houston-based logistics organization is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead strategic Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives across the enterprise. This individual will oversee critical programs involving IAM, Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Secrets Management, ensuring successful execution, stakeholder alignment, and on-time delivery.

This position is ideal for a project manager who thrives in a fast-paced enterprise cybersecurity environment and enjoys driving complex programs from planning through implementation. The role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively coordinate technical teams, remove roadblocks, manage risks, and maintain momentum across multiple workstreams.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead the delivery of enterprise IAM, PAM, and Secrets Management initiatives across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and critical-path activities.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams spanning Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Application Development, and IT Operations.
  • Drive execution through recurring project reviews, status meetings, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Identify project risks early and facilitate resolution strategies to keep programs on track.
  • Ensure accountability for deliverables, ownership assignments, and execution commitments.
Governance, Reporting & Execution Management
  • Maintain and manage RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies).
  • Establish clear ownership and target dates for all project actions and remediation efforts.
  • Create executive-level presentations and status reports focused on decisions, progress, risks, and business impact.
  • Develop and maintain program dashboards reporting on milestones, KPIs, project health, and delivery metrics.
  • Build and execute recovery plans for challenged initiatives, driving projects back to green status through structured remediation efforts.
Key Areas of Oversight
  • Application onboarding and integration into enterprise IAM platforms.
  • Migration of privileged accounts into PAM solutions.
  • Centralization of credentials and secrets into approved enterprise vault technologies.
  • Execution of identity security transformation initiatives and access governance programs.
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of project or program management experience within large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrated success leading Identity & Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), or broader Identity Security initiatives.
  • Proven ability to manage large, complex programs involving multiple technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Strong track record of driving execution, resolving dependencies, and delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Experience facilitating executive steering committees, governance forums, and leadership reporting.

  • Privileged Access Management (PAM), including CyberArk and privileged account governance
  • Secrets Management, including centralized vaulting solutions such as HashiCorp Vault
  • Authentication technologies including MFA, SSO, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and Zero Trust security models
Education
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
Preferred
  • Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field.
