Job summary

OpenLoop Health seeks a Sr. Staff IAM Engineer to lead identity architecture across workforce, customer, and partner identities. You will own Auth0 customer architecture end-to-end, define governance and patterns, and drive unified identity posture across platforms including Okta, SailPoint ISC, and Privileged access tooling.

You will write decisions, design tradeoffs, and collaborate with security teams to ensure HIPAA, HITRUST, and SOC 2 compliance in a fast-moving telehealth environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in identity and access management, security engineering, or platform architecture.
• Hands-on CIAM experience with Auth0, Okta or equivalent.
• Strong architectural direction and patterns adoption without direct authority.
• Clear written communication with architecture decision records.

Responsibilities

• Own target-state identity architecture across all identity types and set standards.
• Own Auth0 customer identity architecture end to end, including MFA and machine-to-machine patterns.
• Keep customer and workforce identity planes separate and design interfaces.
• Consolidate authentication paths onto a single workforce IdP.
• Design SSO, SCIM provisioning, and automated deprovisioning patterns.
• Define federation across Okta, Entra ID, AWS, and GCP.
• Build Identity Security Posture Management and remediation metrics.
• Collaborate with Security Operations to integrate identity threat detection.
• Design access controls complying with HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2.
• Serve as design authority between identity risk and remediation teams.
