Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Distinguished Engineer to lead the move to Just-In-Time access in a zero standing privileges model. You will architect adaptive, policy-based authorization, integrating device posture, network signals, and user behavior to grant access at the moment it's needed.

You will champion an Identity-as-a-Service mindset, build developer-centric APIs, and ensure regulatory guardrails in a modern IAM ecosystem within Capital One's cloud-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 7+ years of software engineering and solution architecture experience.
• 7+ years of enterprise architecture and design patterns experience.
