Job summary

Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an SME-level Integrated Air Defense Test Engineer located at the 46TS/TGBB in Eglin AFB, FL. This position provides support to the 46 Test Squadron - Sensors and Defensive Systems Flight at Eglin AFB.

Lead and execute testing, integration, and evaluation of sensors and C2 systems for an advanced IADS architecture, define MOPs/MOEs, develop Master Test Plans, and deliver final reports to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years in IADS, C2 and sensor testing.
• Recognized authority in air defense architectures.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Willingness to work extended hours including weekends/holidays.
• Ability to lead and direct the work of others.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute testing, integration, and evaluation of sensors and C2 systems for an advanced IADS architecture.
• Architect Master Test Plans for complex IADS architectures.
• Define MOPs and MOEs for C2 and sensor nodes.
• Evaluate sensor performance (Radar, RF, EO/IR) in contested environments and diagnose anomalies.
• Support C2 interoperability, threat evaluation, and weapon assignment algorithms.
• Analyze data, author final test reports for senior leadership.
