Job summary

Astrion is seeking a Command and Control Test Engineer at Eglin AFB, FL, level Mid-Level. You will join the 46 TS C2 Test Team and help plan, execute, and report on C2 systems and battle management test events.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a technical field with 3–10 years of relevant experience, an active Secret (and ability to obtain TS) clearance, DoD domain knowledge, and readiness to travel up to 30% CONUS/OCONUS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field and 3–10 years of relevant experience.
• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top-Secret.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Familiar with DoD Joint Fires Coordination systems and C2 concepts.
• Experience with Command and Control / Battle Management Systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% CONUS/OCONUS.
• Strong written and verbal communication; team player.

Responsibilities

• Perform as a member of the 46 TS C2 Test Team.
• Interface with PMOs, services, Joint Battle Labs, and contractors.
• Plan, execute, and report on C2 systems and Air Base Defense tests.
• Test and evaluate battle management systems.
• Proficient with radar fundamentals, receivers, and data formats.
• Familiar with radar operations and electronic counter measures.
• Engage in test planning, develop test plans, and produce reports.
• Travel to locations to conduct tests and reduce data.
